We are delighted to welcome Taki Fahrensohn to the Talent International Institute (TII) family!
Hailing from West Auckland, Taki brings with him an inspiring journey of passion, discipline, and achievement. From an early age, basketball has been his driving force, leading him to secure a scholarship to the University of Portland, where he earned a degree in business. Taki’s talent on the court took him across the globe, from university sports in the USA to professional basketball leagues in Germany and even more recently the Tall Blacks squad.

After an exciting stint with the Canterbury Rams here in Christchurch, Taki discovered a new passion—youth work and education. Now, as part of the TII team, he’s excited to apply his energy and experience to help empower students to become the best they can be.
When he’s not working, you’ll likely find Taki enjoying the outdoors, spending quality time with friends and family, or eagerly seeking a challenger for his next competitive game—whether it’s on or off the court!
